The first part of this week reports of flounder n a few drum, striper and smaller panfish (spot) have been caught. The severe change in the tides caused flooding on land and waters so rough keeping anglers from fishing. A couple determined men fished the inner harbor of Capt. Bobs Marina n caught undersized Stripers. Late Saturday when winds subsided n waters calmed a LITTLE anglers were fishing inside the bulkhead of Curtis Merritt Harbor catching striper n flounder. Drum have been caught on the surf but strong winds and terribly rough breakers made it a challenge.

Fish are still here, conditions are improving.
